『英文ジャーナル』第２０号原稿募集のお知らせ
The Japanese Journal of American Studies – Call for Papers

　　　JAAS members are invited to submit proposals for papers to be included in the 20th issue (June 2009) of the Japanese Journal of American Studies. Papers on any topic within the field of American Studies, including those related to this issue’s special theme, “Peace,” are welcome.

　　　This issue will explore the theme of “Peace” from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives. In general, we welcome papers that shed light on aspects of American ways of life, society, history, literature, politics, economics, law, space, art and architecture, and uses of electronic communications media.
　　　Proposals, consisting of a title and abstract (approximately 300 words), are due by January 10, 2008, and should be sent to the JJAS Editorial Committee, JAAS, c/o Center for Pacific and American Studies, University of Tokyo, 3-8-1 Komaba, Meguro-ku, Tokyo 153-8902. Completed manuscripts will be due May 15, 2008 (maximum 7000 words, including notes.)
Papers must be written in English, based on original research, and previously unpublished. Authors may submit only one proposal per issue. The JJAS style sheet can be obtained from the JAAS homepage. (http://www.jaas.gr.jp/english/)
